Case Study - Metal Railings at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield

We were approached by our client Tectonic Landscapes to see if we could help by supplying metal railings for a charity funded garden at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield.

The brief was pretty simple in that the railing design should pose no threat to patients in the event that the fall over. In addition to this the main other requirement was that they were supplied in made to measure sizes and be powder coated to both Anthracite grey and Burgundy.

Having been provided with the correct dimensions of the gaps between the various brick pillars and the height required we set about providing a couple of design options along with a competitive quote.

Our initial thought was that the Court railings would be the best solution due to the curved top however the client did not like this and instead decided on the Manor metal railings instead as these are slightly heavier duty whilst benefitting from a ball top finial that will keep any users of the space safe at all times.

As you can see from the pictures detailed below the railings and the overall garden design looks outstanding and both ourselves and the client were are really pleased with the end results.
