The dropdown menu dimensions correlate to the physical width and height of the gate. The additional space demanded to fit the hinges and latch is omitted.
What Opening Width is Required?
Please use the matrix below to calculate the precise opening size you need to have available between your support structure.
900mm Physical Width: The opening between your masonry or posts will need to be 930mm.
1000mm Physical Width: The opening between your masonry or posts will need to be 1030mm.
1100mm Physical Width: The opening between your masonry or posts will need to be 1130mm.
1200mm Physical Width: The opening between your masonry or posts will need to be 1230mm.
Height Dimensions
The hinges connect to the top and underside of the vertical hanging stile. Consequently, your wall or posts must be at least 100mm taller than the physical gate height. If this is not viable, you must buy a gate with a smaller size or install posts to compensate.
Are Optional Aluminium Posts Required?
You must purchase aluminium posts if the gate is not going to be attached to a solid masonry structure. These components can be sunk into the ground and secured with concrete or bolted down to the floor or any other solid surface so your gate can be mounted correctly and securely.
