These measurements correspond to the size of the opening you must have between your brick walls or posts. The space taken up by the hinges and latch is already included in these dimensions, so do not make any allowances for these components. This is the actual height of the gates measured from the underside of the frame to the highest point. No allowance for ground clearance is included in this measurement.
